Gotta get used to that if you're gonna catch snakes, lol! We call it "snake catcher's perfume". I can't even begin to recount how many times I've been pooped, peed or musked on by snakes, far more than I've been bitten, that's for sure. It's nice to see a Hoggie, too; they've all but disappeared, along with frogs and toads, from where I live. I haven't seen a wild Hognose here in SC for well over 10 years now.

You wouldn't happen to be a fan of Tony Stewart, would you?

I've been pooped and peed on by most everything else before so it didn't phase me, but P.U.! I was really surprised to see this little hatchling, it was only about 8" long. We have 4 species of poisonous snake in Indiana and 2 of those are rattlers and it wasn't a copperhead, so I figured I was pretty safe.(50/50 for water moccasin)LOL. This little beauty was found in Columbus, just South of Indianapolis on about 100 acres of private land. Indiana is doing a lot of wildlife conservation measures and it is working great. I've seen species that have been extinct here for years moving back in and all new residential developments must have ponds on them which really helps.

I'm not much of a race fan, only been a few times. I lived within walking distance of the 500 track most of my life and now I live within walking distance of O'Reilly Raceway Park. I do live near Pittsboro though.
