This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Well, it's that time of year >YET AGAIN<....damn. I haven't been on DA because my CAD business has picked up dramatically and after working 60-70 hours a week I'm a little lacking in the want to do anything except sleep department. This time of year jewelers tend to fall off the face of the earth and do not typically reappear until after Valentines day so if anyone needs to contact me you can message me at: seeker212121@yahoo.com, as I check that several times a week normally, otherwise I'll be scarce for awhile.
Man, Orchid and Ganoksin are great. I wasn't sure my question got through or not, but apparently it did and someone responded. Took awhile, but hopefully their tip will help. If I can manage to get use my PUK to do what I need it to do that would be way better than soldering 200ish weld points on the project I want to do.
Man, this isn't good. I'm not sure that my project is going to work and I've sunk a lot of money into it. Welding so far hasn't worked, I took a closer look and discovered that the heat from the torch is warping and annealing my jumprings because of the amount of heat it takes to heat the setting so the solder flows. I have to keep trying the welding because I've spent too much money to give up with out at least destroying everything in an attempt to make it. I keep getting really close to it working, but the weld either doesn't hold, won't take to the setting, or destroys the chain. I am having a really bad day.
I'm sorry! That is a real shit it isn't working! There has got to be a way to do it. Are you using silver solder on all the joints? You may consider using the silver on the pressure bearing joints and EZ 14w on the smaller joints. As much as you may hate having to do it that way, sometimes it's the only option when the piece won't bear the heat.

EZ 14w? White gold solder? Or that something else?
So far I've managed to find a way to get them on safely without any soldering really, just made like long loops and shoved them through the openings in the setting and opened up the inside so they don't block the stone. But they're too loose and doesn't have the hinge effect that the soldered samples did. Just kind of flops around and I can't have it doing that. So I'm probably going to still have to solder some, but I can probably eliminate half the solder points. This is turning out to be very time consuming, heh. In the end, I'll probably end up with like 6 or 7 hours of prep work alone, bah.
